Pissed Off
Nakakairitoooooooo. >.< Una, sabi ko kukunin ko yung socks, pagtingin ko sa mga binili ko nu'ng paguwi ko, wala naman. Pangalawa, bumili ako ng libro ng mga Chopin Etudes, pagdating ng bahay, nagusot yung front page. Pangatlo, yung paborito kong panulat/ballpen na BIC na black, wala akong mahanap kahit saan! Meron akong nakita kaso kailangan pang bilhin yung 2 gluesticks and all-in-all, worth P52.00. Yung ballpen na 'yun, P10.00 lang ata, napilitan akong bilhin for P52.00.

Second Sem, Here I Come!
Photo taken by: me Edited by: me
Second sem is just a day away from now and I ain't ready yet! Not that it's necessary but I haven't bought new clothes yet. I'm sick of my old clothes. :| Aside from that problem, I still haven't bought school materials also... maybe later. I've already said I'd do better this coming sem and now what? Still procrastinating in preparing things. What more when the sem has already started? :|
Anyway, what I'm really trying to get ready from is how I will adapt from the new schedule I have. Tuesday and Thursday, I don't have any breaks. All of my subjects those days are back to back. Good thing I don't have to run like the wind just to get to their respective venues. All of them are located at AS (Palma Hall) except for the Chem lab which is located at the Institute of Chemistry near CSRC. I'm not worried about being late, since the instructor would probably understand because of the schedule that was made. I hope... :)) On the other hand, my Wednesday and Friday are a bit balanced by its breaks and classes. Good thing I chose the Friday HRIM100. Because of this, I got only 3 hrs. of break every Friday (and also Wednesday). If I chose the Wednesday HRIM100, I wouldn't have the 3-hr. break on that day but I would have a very loooooooong break on Friday... 6 hrs.!!!!! I can't handle that. So it was really a good decision for me choosing the Friday schedule even though most of my HRIM blockmates last sem preferred the Wednesday schedule. At least I'll get to know my other coursemates whom I haven't met and haven't known that well yet. Opportunity cost! :)
First day of classes is known to be the profs' laziest class day since most of them don't attend it. If they ever wouldn't attend or dismiss the class very early, then what the heck am I gonna do after!? I realized I don't like long breaks anymore unlike when I was in high school. :))
Oh barnacles. Good luck to me tomorrow! :) See you around, UP-mates! :p

Friends Indeed Part 3: Shalla
Shalla Winchelle Jayme Yu. The weirdest person I've met. Weirder than the weirdest creature in the universe! WEIRD! :P Hahaha! but despite her weirdlinessnessness... she's one talented and skilled gay... lesbian... alien... whatever. :)) She knows a lot, okay? Let me list down the things I know about her/him/it.
-She plays the piano. She can play Sonatas, Nocturnes, Etudes, Opus Clavicembalisticum (joke XD), etc. -She loves to read books. Wanna know how she loves it? She rapes her collection. >:D -She's an atheist because of what happened to her in Quiapo and now she keeps on saying that the Catholic church is hiding lots of things from us. -She has many foreign friends like Shawn, Irina, Xinyi, Zaty (they're the ones whom I also know). :P -She has been to many countries already like Singapore, Greece, France, MARS, JUPITER, VY CANIS MAJORIS, etc. -She knows the English language very well; she is fluent to other languages like Mandarin, French; she somehow understands and speaks a little of: Latin, Spanish, Japanese, Italian... Sige lahat na. =)) -She is very literate in computer stuff. She can make layouts of her own through coding chuvaness. She also knows how to hack others' account. -She knows a lot of expensive brands and she owns/owned some. -She's rich. But for now I think she's suffering from financial problems. Not really sure why. But by the time she turns 18, she'll be able to get her heirloom from her father. I hope she'll still remember me and share her blessings. HAHA! -She's a photography enthusiast.
Okay, these are a lot already...
I met Shalla when we were 3rd year high school students. She was a neophyte student in our section back then. According to her, the very first interaction we had was when we had a debate in our AP class. I tried to go against with her answers which, I think, left her an impression about me. After time, I learned things about her including the things stated above. I even hid a secret from her where I lied that I didn't read her plog (private blog) which she eventually knew later on. We also fought about certain things like who's-gonna-represent-our-section-for-the-General-Information-Quiz-Bee thing. She's also the one who introduced me to classical music where most people don't appreciate. Did you know she started as a beginner in her piano lessons in LRMS even though she's already pro? Meaning, she lied to us! XD Good thing I learned the truth from some of her friends. In addition, she had become my partner for our piano duet which was for the recital of our school. I was the Secondo while she was the Primo. We played 4-Hand Sonata Opus 6 by Beethoven. Here's the link if you wanna watch how we played it although this isn't the actual recital: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74b446Md9Vs.
As of now, Shalla has stopped from studying. The only entrance exam she had in the Philippines is the USTET. She passed it with Journalism as her course but she wasn't able to enrol in UST because of some deficiencies like the Form 137 not only of LRMS but also of her previous schools. She took an entrance exam/audition for the National University of Singapore, a high-ranked university in the world; she passed it with her course as Music Conservatory but the tuition is so high and she still preferred Journalism. In addition to the problem, her mom wasn't helping her about it. She wants to turn 18 already not because she wants to get her heirloom but to get a job. She wants to get away from where she is now that's why she wants to work already. Uhm, that's still a year away to happen.
Currently, I don't know exactly where she is now or what she's up to mainly because she goes online very seldom lately. Maybe, she's already selling her fat body to crazy people and has become a GRO or something. :)) Kiddin'. XD
With so many things I learned from Shalla, I'm starting to get lazy putting all of them in this post and besides, I think this is already enough about her. Haha.
'Till next time. :D ;)

Cents Make Sense
Photo taken by: me Edited by: me Caption: Money is countable; charity isn't...
With money, you can buy almost anything; however, there are things in life that are free which money can't buy. Like, friendship, love, charity, hope. And also, these are the things that make us truly happy. So, don't be too dependent on money. Yes, they're a necessity in our everyday life but don't let it take over you 'cause just like what other say, money is the root of all evil. Be contented with just the free things that you can have and you'll soon conceive that money isn't everything.
In the photo, you can see bottles filled with coins and bills. This was a project of the Student Government called Cents Make Sense which was named by Francis Tiro when I was in 3rd year high school. Formerly called "Your Change for a Change". As part of the project, every class is given a bottle for the students to voluntarily donate whatever amount they want, from centavo coins to paper bills. During my term as the SG President, the first few weeks of the project were very successful. Almost every class had filled the bottle up which we didn't expect to happen. As far as I can recall, we already had thousands at the first week of our collection. :D But unfortunately, after few months, its existence (not sure with the word) gradually disappeared... unnoticeably, I think? Some of my co-SG officers didn't do their tasks given unto them and this could be one of the reasons why such thing happened. What a shame. :/ Sayang... :|
There were thoughts that haunted me that this project wasn't a good idea. I suppose I could've thought of better fund raising projects where students and even teachers could participate more better than just simply giving away that money. Not that I'm against it but there could have been better ideas than this. :D Nevertheless, it isn't my problem now, since I'm not the SG President anymore. :p

Friends Indeed Part 2: Jeca
Jenica Kei Gonzales Wakui. Among my friends, she is indeed the ugliest. Loljk. Shalla's the ugliest, no doubt; Jeca only comes for the second. XD But kiddin' aside, Jeca is one of the coolest friends I have considering I've only known her for only 2-3 years. I can see Itine in her. You know, open-minded and respects you. And for some reasons, when she teases you, it doesn't hit you hard. You can feel she's just joking around. And if ever you do something wrong, she won't tolerate it.
Jeca, or Jekokey (it's what I call her sometimes, hehe) transferred to LRMS when we were in our sophomore year. That time, I really don't know much about her. The only thing I remember about her that time was when I played volleyball with her, together with Jezz (I can't remember lah!). Oh! And also, how her "bangs" left something chuva in my mind. I don't know but funny things enter my mind whenever I recall it. But take note, I only realized this when I personally met Jeca when we were juniors. Maybe it was a time where I was trying to know her; trying to make my first impression.
There were also times I got mad at Jeca. Can't remember why but I do remember suddenly saying to her that it was only a joke. But she knew that I was only acting--which is true. Hehe. :P We've also joined volleyball leagues particularly in Dacon Homes. Also, because of her I met other friends like Ate Abie, Ces, Kuya Paul, Kuya Mari, and many other people. :)
Senior year. Jeca, fortunately, belonged to my section IV-St. Augustine. :D She even became our class mayor. But that didn't scare me, of course. I was the SG President. She still had to obey orders from me. Mwahahahaha! Kiddin'. :P Other unforgettable memories were the Physics activities we had as a group and volleyball moments.
College. She currently studies in the University of Santo Tomas taking up Comm Arts as her course. She dreams to be a future drug lord... joke. :))) Journalist, rather, just like Shalla. :D But she somehow loathes *changes word* doesn't feel the attitude of some of her blockmates, I think? However, she still found some true friends whom I met when I went to her house one time. She's also an official member of the Teatro Tomasino. Her teatro name is Jenoy which is a combination of her name and Annoying Orange. From this, I remember the edit I made wherein I put her face in an orange. Very similar to how AO looks like. T'was funny! COOL. Anyway, 'wag mo akong kalilimutan kapag naging artista ka na ah? :)) HAHA! Lol. XD
Recently, someone was stalking me through texting and calling only to know upon typing this post that it was Jeca! HAHAHAHAHAHA! I wasn't replying or answering her because I was already traumatized by this kind of incident. Leche ka, Jeca. XD
There are just too many memories to reminisce and say here in this post but nonetheless, I still believe I don't have to dictate every single memory we had to prove we're really friends. Maybe if I would do so, only the significant and unforgettable ones. The important thing is how we preserve the friendship we have. I don't even know what I'm saying. XD Nevertheless, there's a point in what I'm trying to say. :P

There are certain things in life that don't need to be perfect just so you can say they're beautiful. In fact, seeing an imperfect person perfectly or simply learning from your mistakes will make you realize you don't have to live a perfect life but rather you just have to make the best out of it. Friends Indeed Part 1: Hillary
As requested, I didn't put Hillary's full name and removed her pic in this post. :D
Hillary. I call her by that. Or if I feel like teasing her, I call her Bullillary or Hillantot just like what others call her. :)) She's one smart girl but sometimes lazy. Very much like me. :P She had become the editor-in-chief of our school's publication in our junior year; and assistant editor-in-chief in our senior year. When people are asked who is the prettiest (pretty ugly haha!) girl in St. Augustine (my 4th yr. section), they would point out Hillary but there would always be follow-ups like, "Konting ayos lang sa kanya...", etc. One person whom I remembered asking this question and at the same time answering it was Ms. Jasmin, our English teacher. Hillary is also the prom queen in our last prom and I can even remember seeing her reaction when she was called on stage--very surprised. :)) She's also a spelling bee champion. Hmp. I was, too, you know. :P But that was way back when I was a sophomore. Hahaha! XD When Jeca or Shalla isn't around, she is the one I usually call for help or seek advice from. She's very open-minded and doesn't get mad easily. She knows a lot more despite her decorousness. So... BEWARE. She bites. :))
Hillary transferred to LRMS when we were in Grade 6. New students were usually not that smart or didn't excel academically. But when she came, us, old students, who were in the top 10 were threaten because we knew she would be one of us. At first, they said she was as smart as Jaiane who was the consistent top 2. But good thing I beat her and got a higher rank in our graduation. I was 3rd honorable mention; she was With Honors (top 6). :P
First year, we belonged to the same section because of the pilot section chuvaness. I was disappointed because this was the start where she had higher ranks than I have. And at the end of our high school, she was the 3rd Honorable Mention while I was only With Honors (top 7). HAHA! I can still feel the injustice done unto me. :P
I've only been close to Hillary when we were 4th year. She's like my vice president whenever I needed some help. Although, there were times she skipped out of her SG duties. Bad... very bad. XD A time also came where I even tried to scare her by resigning from my position. XDDD
Hillary currently studies in Ateneo de Manila University, taking up BS Psychology. She passed the UPCAT but she was out of slots in her first choice. Her second choice was Food Technology. Honestly, it doesn't suit her. :)) That's why studying in Ateneo was a good choice for her. But UP is still the best. Hehehehe.
For now, I usually chat with her in Y!M asking for help about certain things or just simply bullying her. :P Sometimes I ask her to criticize my photos which I eventually post in my blog or in Facebook. Thanks for that, Bullillary. :bd Great help. :)
There are lots of memories to reminisce but they're just too many to mention.

Billiards
Photo by: me Edited by: me Caption: Think first before doing anything else
In my own interpretation, before doing anything, you have to set your goals/objectives first. I could've just focused on the white ball instead of the other ball. But if that's the case, there would be a different interpretation. What I'm trying to say in this photo why I focused on the yellow ball instead of the white ball is that you have to think first what you're going to hit. Think before doing anything else, okay?

UP Second Sem Enrolment
The image above is my finalized schedule for the second semester AY 2010-2011. :) Hoping not only to pass the subjects, but also to have a high grade. I wanna be at least a College Scholar; University Scholar is too much but why not? Haha.
Today was our enrolment for 2nd sem. I'm quite unsure of what emotion should I express about it but I'm just grateful because of being fortunate enough to complete my 20 required units. :D At first, I was lacking one MST (Math, Science & Technology) and a major subject (which isn't much of a problem). Before anything else, I cancelled my enlisted Math 17 subject after knowing I passed its removals exam. Which means I don't have to take it up again. Sweeeeeeeet! :> Anyway, going back... I tried to prerog for an MST subject in the CSRC. The line was very long and there were times I just thought of giving up. But good thing I didn't. Because after the long waiting, I was able to get a slot for Chem 1 (Steph's recommendation), TTh 2:30-4:00 PM and I was so glad because my ideal time was 2:30-4:00 PM! Sakto! XD And the best thing about it was there were only two slots left. See? Ang swerte ko noh? :)) Considering it was my first time to prerog. :P I pray that I'll still get the same luck for the remaining sems. (Tanggap ko namang hindi eh. >:P)
The thing that made me a bit angry is the waiting-for-nothing part. We were only up to the assessment part but we weren't been able to get our official Form 5 because there was something up with the Chem subjects and Bracket A. I... dunno what exactly. Because of this, we have to go to UP again tomorrow to at least get the Form 5 together with the assessment.
Hoping for a fun and fruitful second sem! :D

Photo taken by: me Edited by: me Caption: Pretty Scary
My niece, Bea. I was telling her to make a scary pose because of the idea that it was almost Halloween; the photo turned out to be something like this. XD Not really quite what I was expecting. But then, I thought of combining the original idea with the outcome for the photo's caption which eventually resulted into an oxymoron--pretty scary. :D I did make sense, didn't I?

GRF Leaders' Assembly
Photo from: Grf Awardees' Facebook Edited by: me :)
I may not look like it but yeah, I'm a Gerry Roxas Leadership Awardee. ;) I'm a 2010 awardee so I'm a bit new with the foundation. At first I thought it was only an award. But then I learned that it's really a foundation that brews leaders specifically the GRLAs. It was an honor to be one even though I know other people also deserved the award, too.
The picture was taken from the Leaders' Assembly last September 19. Here, I had the opportunity to meet my co-2010 awardees which was cool! Some of them are from different schools like Adamson, UST and even my current school, UP Diliman! :D The other awardees from other batches who facilitated us were so energetic and I could feel their sense of leadership. I wish I'll get to develop the same attitude as well.
I'm also excited for the Amazing G.R.A.C.E. on October 18-19/23-24. I'm not sure yet which of the 2 dates will I go to but either way, I know it'll be fun. :D I just hope the typhoon won't ruin everything. Haha.

HRIM I-5
Photo from: Marlon Nombrado Edited by: Me :)
My block: HRIM I-5
Yes. We're a block but only for ONE subject. :)) And that is the infamous "Math 17". Of all the subjects we could've been a block, why Math 17?! Why?! Most of the times we were so quiet and so focused on the topics being discussed that we didn't have the time to chit-chat with each other. No group activities or what. What do you expect? It's Math. :D Nvm. I just wish that we'll all be close with each other someday. :D
People whom I've been close to or at least have gotten to know for some time: -Apaule Cervania -Giesalyn De Ocampo -Janni Lazada -Steph Cabana -Gab Ocoma -Ak Mapolon -Andrew Quicho -Mervyn Valenzuela -Aeka Ugale -Theo Cacayan -Jaiane Raymundo (WTH? Sawang-sawa na ako sa'yo) :))
Btw, the one beside Steph at the right side with a pink shirt is our Math prof, Ms. Marie Michele Fabros. Despite my ugly performance in the subject, she's one cool prof! From that, I can conclude that it's not me; it's not the prof; it's the subject that really makes everything so complicated. XD DAMN YOU MATH 17!
See you next sem, blockmates! :)

Cookiemon! The picture above depicts one of the free samples of our so-called COOKIEMON. This was the product that the LRMS Teenpreneur '09 sold. Originally, Cookiemon was supposed to be a combination of cookies and hamon, according to Jaiane. But since hamon is very expensive, they decided not to include it anymore. But the name still remained the same because it can still be an allusion of the word "Pokemon". They have different flavors which include: peanut butter, ube, and chocolate.

Instead, we travelled around more. And we ended up getting lost! :))) HAHA! You see, UPD is such a large campus, considering it is the largest campus in the Philippines. It's more like a village than an educational institution! Haha. But now, we're getting used to it. Because of our Envi Sci class, we had a field trip at Subic last August 23, 2010. Our prof is a consultant echos there for a long time so we were able to get discounts in paying the fees. :)
We had a free lunch (was it?). Camayan is, I think, a hotel at Subic. :D And guess what the ulam was? Chicken fillet! Oh, it brings back the old times. LRMS times. :))) You see, whenever we have a free lunch or whatever, most of time, the ulam is FRIED CHICKEN!!! Infinite supply of CHICKEN! Not to mention how cheap our school is. Why not just use the money buying all those chicken in buying the other demands of the students. Wait? Why am I even talking about that? :)))) HAHAHA!
We were able to see the dolphin's amazing performances! They are very well-trained. Amazing. :D It was just a bummer when the person in front of me opened her umbrella and obstructed my view! I wasn't the only one who got irritated, of course. Others cannot get a good shot of what we were watching because of her. Anyway, despite that, the show was worth the watch. :)
